How access works on Squarespace

You set up access once for each website. It stays in place, so the next time you need help we can start without asking again.

  1. 1In Squarespace, go to Settings, then Permissions and Ownership, then Invite Contributor.
  2. 2Enter the email address we give you and choose the Administrator role.
  3. 3We accept the invitation and start work once you have accepted our quote.

Contributors do not need your password. You can remove us from Permissions and Ownership at any time.

Squarespace questions

Will you need my Squarespace password?

No. You invite us as a contributor from your settings, which gives us our own login. You can remove it whenever you like.

Why does my Squarespace site look different on phones?

Squarespace rearranges sections for smaller screens, and some layouts do not adapt well. We adjust the sections so the site reads properly on phones.

Do you work on Squarespace Commerce sites?

Yes. We fix product, checkout, shipping and tax problems on Squarespace shops, as well as the rest of the site.

Can you fix custom code a previous designer added?

Yes. We look at what the code in your code injection and custom CSS areas does, then fix it or remove it if it is no longer needed.
